As the 13th National Parliamentary Election approaches this Thursday, February 12, the electoral fervour has spread to the country's showbiz scene. While some celebrities are joining campaign activities, others are preparing to head to their polling stations. However, several popular stars will be unable to cast their votes this time due to being abroad.

Dhaka's superstar Shakib Khan is a resident of the Gulshan area and a voter in Dhaka-17. He previously voted at the Gulshan Model School centre, but cannot do so this time as he is currently in India for the shooting of his film 'Prince'.

Actor Arifin Shuvu is a voter in Dhaka-11. He will not be able to be present at the polling centre as he is in the United States during the election period.

Actress Jaya Ahsan is a resident of the Baridhara area and is also a voter in Dhaka-17. She is currently abroad. No confirmed information is available yet on whether she will return to the country on election day.

On the other hand, several stars are preparing to vote in their respective areas.

Actor Siam Ahmed lives in the Rajarbagh area of the capital and is a voter in Dhaka-19.

Actress Mehjabin Chowdhury is a voter in Dhaka-11.

Actor Misha Sawdagor will vote in the Dhaka-18 constituency.

Popular actor Chanchal Chowdhury is a voter in Dhaka-8.

Actor Bappy Chowdhury is listed as a voter in Narayanganj-4.

Additionally, actress Purnima lives in the Nikunja area of Khilkhet. She will therefore vote in Dhaka-18.

Actress Apu Biswas is a resident of Badda, which falls under the Dhaka-11 constituency.

The issue of celebrities exercising their voting rights or being absent has become a topic of discussion among their fans as well. On social media, many are encouraging their favourite stars to vote, while others are expressing disappointment that some cannot vote due to being abroad.
