‘Still cannot believe you are not here’, Shabnur remembers Salman Shah

Former Dhallywood queen Shabnur has remembered the late film actor Salman Shah with deep love and respect on his 30th death anniversary. At noon on Sunday she gave an emotional message by publishing multiple photos with Salman Shah on her verified Facebook page.

Shabnur has written, “Still cannot believe you are not here Salman…!”

Shabnur informed that even after three decades of Salman Shah’s death his memory is still undimmed in her own heart. In her language, that beloved prince of the screen and the dream hero of the audience is still alive through memory and love.

Shabnur has further written that the huge vacuum that was created in the country’s film arena due to the untimely demise of Salman Shah has not been filled even after three decades. Generations have changed with time, the language of films and the taste of the audience have changed; but the popularity of Salman Shah and the magic of his acting are still intact.

Remembering Salman, Shabnur has written, on your 30th death anniversary I convey humble respect and endless love. Wherever you are, stay well dear Salman Shah. May Allah make you a resident of Paradise.

On September 6, 1996 Salman Shah set off for the land of no return at the age of only 24. His sudden death had stunned the film lovers of the entire country at that time. Even after three decades of death there has been no ebb in the love of the audience for this actor.

In a film career of only four years Salman Shah had created his own distinct position in Dhaka cinema by acting in 27 movies. By acting in popular movies like ‘Keyamat Theke Keyamat’, ‘Tomake Chai’, ‘Shopner Thikana’, ‘Ontore Ontore’, ‘Denmohor’, ‘Priyojon’ and ‘Anondo Ashru’ he had become the dream hero of the audience in a short time.

Alongside his acting, clothes, head bandana, sunglasses of the eyes, bike, black dense hair and charming smile had also become part of a separate identity. Even after three decades these elements are still equally attractive to the new generation. Therefore even though many things have changed in the current of time, Salman Shah is still undimmed in the love of the audience.
