Suryavanshi leaps 230 spots to enter top 50 in ICC T20I rankings

Young Indian batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made a sensational leap in the latest ICC T20I rankings for batters. The 15-year-old left-hander jumped 230 places to break into the top 50 for the first time, securing the 48th position with 536 rating points – a career-best ranking .

This surge came on the back of his outstanding performance in the recent three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe in Harare. Suryavanshi scored 151 runs at an average of 50.33, playing a key role in India's 3-0 series whitewash and earning his first Player-of-the-Series award. His knocks included a 19-ball fifty in the first match, 20 off 9 in the second, and a career-best 81 off 49 in the final game. He also became the first male cricketer to hit multiple fifties before turning 16.

India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan remains at the top of the T20I batting rankings with 910 rating points, despite dropping six points after scores of 81 and 29. He is followed by Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan (848 points). In the bowling rankings, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan continues to lead with 753 rating points.

In other movement, Tilak Varma climbed two places to sixth, Shreyas Iyer advanced seven places to 24th, and Ravi Bishnoi jumped 31 places to 41st in the bowling rankings after taking three wickets in the Zimbabwe series. In the ODI rankings, India captain Shubman Gill has reclaimed the top spot .
