The Bangladesh women's football team is starting preparations ahead of the Women's Asian Cup to be held in Australia in March next year. As part of this, they will play several friendly matches. Mahfuza Akhter Kiran, Chairperson of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Women's Wing, said that Tahura-Rituparna will travel to Thailand at the end of October, where they will play two matches against the host team.

Coach Peter Butler will return to Dhaka in mid-September after the vacation. Then a camp will start with the girls of the national and U-20 teams. This time, the camp will not be held at the BFF building, but at a five-star hotel or resort.

In addition, the BFF is also planning to organize a tri-nation tournament in Dhaka to prepare for the Asian Cup. Vietnam and Azerbaijan have been invited to host this tournament between November-December. There are also plans to give the national and U-20 teams a chance to train in Japan. At the same time, efforts are also being made to play two friendly matches in New Zealand on the way to the Asian Cup.
