Tangia Zaman Mithila to make film debut opposite Shakib Khan

Following her crowning as Miss Universe Bangladesh and gaining international attention by placing 12th in the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, Tangia Zaman Mithila is now set to step into the world of cinema as a leading actress.

Mithila recently discussed her acting plans as a guest on the tenth episode of the second season of the podcast "Behind the Fame with RRK".

Hosted by Rumman Rashid Khan, she revealed that preparations for her big-screen debut are nearly finalised. If everything goes according to plan, an official announcement from the production house is expected within two to three months.

Speaking candidly about her skills, Mithila acknowledged that she has not yet fully mastered dancing. However, she is eager to undergo the necessary training and preparation to become a skilled actress. She aims to develop herself through learning and hard work.

Mithila also addressed the common criticism regarding models turning to acting. In her opinion, many established actresses were not proficient initially; time and practice helped them advance. Therefore, she believes models too can deliver good performances through regular practice.

Prior to this, she had worked in an OTT film titled "Rohingya". Mithila views that as her first step in learning the craft.

During the podcast, she was also open about her personal life, discussing various aspects of relationships and experiences. The podcast is produced by Z I Foysal.
