Tarique Rahman will return home soon: Mirza Fakhrul

If former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia's physical condition remains unchanged, her son and BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman will return home soon, said party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He made the statement while talking to media outlets on Tuesday (December 2) afternoon.

Mirza Fakhrul said: "Tarique Rahman will decide to return home after observing the physical condition of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to take her abroad. If the situation remains unchanged, he will return home soon."

Earlier, Foreign Affairs Adviser Touhid Hossain said in the afternoon that the Foreign Ministry does not have specific information about Tarique Rahman's return. He has not yet requested a travel pass, it will be issued as soon as he requests it. The government will provide all kinds of assistance to him to return home.
