Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce officially tie the knot

Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce finally tied the knot, ending months of intense speculation with a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 guests.

The couple had officially married in a private ceremony, keeping the news secret from fans worldwide.

A post-wedding reception was held at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Friday (July 3), the BBC reported.

Streets surrounding Madison Square Garden were closed for three days ahead of the event, and a strict no-phone policy was enforced for all guests and staff.

Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, described by Swift's representative as a close friend of the couple. The pair skipped a traditional wedding party — Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her "Man of Honour," while Kelce's brother and former NFL star Jason Kelce stood as best man.

Swift wore a gown by Christian Dior Haute Couture paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry. Once the ceremony concluded, a marquee outside the arena lit up with the message "JUST&T MARRIED," confirming the news to the crowds gathered outside.

The star-studded guest list included actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis, model Karlie Kloss, singer Camila Cabello, and several of Kelce's NFL teammates and peers.

Swift and Kelce got engaged on August 26 last year, after first being seen publicly together in September 2023. The wedding marks a first marriage for both 36-year-olds.
