Tecno’s Camon slim 5g with eye-catching design

Tecno has unveiled the new smartphone Camon Slim 5G in Bangladesh. Camon Air has also been brought to the country’s market in the same programme. Slim and light design, high-power camera, artificial intelligence or AI facilities and large battery are the notable features of the two models.

The thickness of Camon Slim 5G is only 6.39 millimetres and the weight is 190 grams. The phone has IP68, IP69 and IP69K standard protection for protection from dust and water damage. A 6,000 milliampere hour battery has been given in it, which can be charged quickly with 45-watt SuperCharge technology.

The phone also has advanced technology in terms of display. A 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution 144Hz AMOLED display has been used in Camon Slim 5G. There is MediaTek Dimensity 7300E 5G processor for performance.

For photos, the phone has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT700C OIS main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera on the back. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Alongside this, there are several artificial intelligence-based facilities including AI Healthcare, AI Nutrition Specialist, AI Pet Snap and AI Starcamp.

The price of Camon Slim 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage has been fixed at 59,999 taka. Pre-booking of the phone will continue from 1 to 7 September. Customers who do pre-booking will get Tecno Smartwatch Neo and a ticket of the opening match of Tecno SAF Championship Bangladesh 2026 as gifts. However, the offer is dependent on specific conditions and availability of gifts.

On the other hand, although the thickness of Camon Air is also 6.39 millimetres, the weight is only 162.8 grams. It has a 6,000 milliampere hour battery and 60-watt UltraCharge technology. A 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED 3D curved display and MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor have been used in the phone. There are IP68 and IP69 ratings for waterproof and dustproof protection.

Camon Air has been given a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 main camera along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Alongside various AI facilities, it has AI Moodlight feature. The price of the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version of the phone is 44,999 taka and the price of the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version is 49,999 taka. Applicable VAT will be added in the case of both prices.
