Former captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has congratulated the Bangladesh team after their historic Test victory on Australian soil in just four days. On Facebook, he described the win as the biggest achievement in Bangladesh's Test history.

Mashrafe wrote, "Test cricket, you are beautiful. Even more so when Bangladesh wins!" He praised Hasan Mahmud, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto, along with the entire team, saying that beating a full-strength Australia on their own soil was the biggest Test victory he had ever witnessed.

He added, "Bangladesh are not losing the series — that's confirmed. Whether they will win it, only time will tell. But seeing Bangladesh dominate Australia in every session and win this match makes me feel truly fortunate."

Mashrafe ended with a message of love for the country, writing, "My golden Bengal, I love you."
