Three advisers blocked in Bhola
Three advisers of the interim government were blocked in the District Commissioner’s office premises in Bhola by local residents demanding the Bhola-Barishal bridge construction and other five-point demands. The advisers were Mohammad Faujul Kabir Khan (Power, Energy & Mineral Resources), Adilur Rahman Khan (Industry) and Sheikh Bashir Uddin (Commerce).
On Friday, November 14, around 5:15 pm, the advisers were held for approximately 20 minutes amid protest slogans. They later left safely with intervention from local political figures.
Protesters alleged prior government commitments regarding the bridge were not met, leading to their demonstration.
