Three Bangladesh pacers make big jumps in ODI rankings
Three Bangladesh fast bowlers have made significant gains in the latest ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings following the team's 2-1 series victory over New Zealand at home .
Shoriful Islam climbed 11 places to 28th, Mustafizur Rahman jumped 14 spots to 41st, and Player of the Series Nahid Rana surged 16 positions to break into the top 50 at 48th . The pace trio collectively claimed 18 wickets across the three-match series .
Bangladesh's batters also enjoyed upward movement in the rankings. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto rose 11 places to 32nd, while Litton Das jumped 15 spots to 65th following consistent performances throughout the series .
All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz moved up one place to joint third in the ODI all-rounders' rankings after his unbeaten 22 and two-wicket haul in the series decider in Chattogram .
T20I rankings gains
Bangladesh players also made gains in the T20I rankings following the first match of their ongoing series against New Zealand .
Towhid Hridoy, who hit a match-winning half-century in the series opener, climbed nine places to 39th among T20I batters. Parvez Hossain Emon rose three spots to joint 40th .
Among bowlers, off-spinner Mahedi Hasan advanced three places to joint 18th, reflecting his consistent performances .
