Ticket sales for Bangladesh-Singapore match to resume soon
Ticket sales for the Bangladesh vs Singapore Asian Cup qualifier, set for June 10 at the National Stadium, are expected to resume shortly after a temporary disruption due to a cyberattack, according to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
BFF Competition Committee Chairman Golam Gaus confirmed that technical teams have been working to restore the service. “We have been working all night and remain in contact with the relevant organisations. They’ve informed us that online ticket sales will resume soon,” he said, although no exact timeline was given.
Cybersecurity group 'Cyber 71' reported that a hacker group, identified as , gained control of Tickify’s server and allegedly began selling tickets illegally. Out of 21,700 total tickets, around 17,000 have already been sold—despite only 9,781 users accessing the platform—raising concerns about large-scale black market activity.
Despite the setback, BFF officials assured fans that steps are being taken to resume official ticket sales and secure the platform.
Earlier, online sales initially began at 8.00pm on Saturday (May 24) on Tickify.live, but the platform quickly became inaccessible to most users due to the cyberattack. Spectators faced repeated login issues, with many encountering a "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" message.
