Titas Gas announces 18-hour suspension in parts of Savar from Sunday night

Gas supply will remain suspended for 18 consecutive hours from Sunday night, May 17, in Savar, Hemayetpur, the tannery industrial city and surrounding areas due to pipeline replacement work, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company has said.

In a notification on Saturday, May 16, Titas Gas authorities said gas supply will remain suspended for all categories of customers on both sides of the highway from Aminbazar DRS to Nabingar from 11:00 pm on Sunday to 5:00 pm on Monday.

The areas to be affected include Boliarpur, Hemayetpur, the tannery industrial city, Singair Road, Fulbaria, Nabingar, Savar municipality area, Savar Cantonment, Ashulia Bazar, Gauripur, Kumkumari, Rajashan and Kalma, along with surrounding areas.

Low gas pressure may occur in adjacent areas during the same period, the notification said.

Titas Gas authorities expressed sincere regret for the temporary inconvenience to consumers.
