US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have extended their Eid greetings to Muslims across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In their message, they described Eid as not only a festival to break the fast but also a time to strengthen spiritual and social bonds with family, friends, and the community.

They also highlighted the importance of religious freedom, noting their administration’s efforts to uphold it, and wished the community a blessed celebration.

Across the United States, preparations for Eid celebrations have been extensive. According to various Muslim organizations, over 5,000 Eid congregational prayers (Jamat) are scheduled nationwide under the management of nearly 3,500 mosques.

Prayers will be held in mosques, open fields, and community halls.

Organizations advocating for Muslim rights reported strong participation is expected in states including New York, New Jersey, Texas, and California. Additionally, over 300 mosques run by Bangladeshi-American communities will host Eid prayers.

Eid festivities are being observed nationwide today, with communities across the country engaging in religious and cultural celebrations.
