Trump threatens to kill all leaders of Iran
The ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel and the United States in the Middle East is becoming increasingly intense. Even after eight days, there is no sign of stopping the war; on the contrary, both sides have increased the level of attacks. US President Donald Trump has taken a tougher stance after his call for unconditional surrender to Iran was rejected.
According to a report by the news agency Reuters, while talking to reporters on the president's official plane Air Force One on Saturday (March 7), Trump said that he is not interested in any kind of negotiation with Iran. According to him, the war can only end when there is no effective military force or leadership left in Tehran.
Trump said that if all potential leaders of Iran are killed and the country's military capabilities are destroyed, there will be no question of negotiation. He also commented that a situation could arise where no one is left alive to declare surrender.
Earlier, Trump had called for Iran to surrender unconditionally in a post on social media. He also said that he believed the United States should have a role in the process of selecting Iran's next leadership.
After Trump's comments, the Iranian president reacted strongly, saying that the country would never surrender.
The United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran without a declaration on February 28. In the first round of attacks, the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family members was demanded. At the same time, several top commanders of the Iranian army were also reported to have been killed.
In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks on various installations of US interests in Israel and the Gulf region. The entire Middle East is now facing a terrible conflict due to these attacks and counterattacks that have been going on for several days.
Meanwhile, after the new threat from the US president, Iran has also started identifying various targets of US interests, according to the CNN. A top Iranian official said the United States has threatened to expand its war against the Iranian people, prompting a new assessment of American territory, forces and allied facilities.
Iran has launched a fresh round of attacks targeting US allies in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The latest attack also saw the country announce the use of hypersonic missiles for the first time.
