TV actor Tinu Karim passes away
Veteran television actor Tinu Karim has passed away on Thursday at 12:00pm in Barishal. He is survived by his wife and an 11-year-old daughter.
His wife Humaira Nowshin confirmed this to the media.
Humaira Nowshin said Karim had been in good health and had traveled to his family home in Barishal three days ago. “Everything was normal, but his condition suddenly deteriorated around noon. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead,” she said.
Doctors reported that a heart attack caused his death.
Karim had previously battled serious illness and spent nearly 40 days in hospital, including periods in the ICU and on life support. He had returned home in early January after recovering from the critical phase of his illness.
Tinu Karim had a career spanning over two decades in television and film. He made his TV debut in the 2001 drama Shakkhor and appeared on the big screen in the 2010 film Opekkha. He became well-known for roles in popular dramas such as Raat Jaga Phool and Alta Banu, as well as numerous television commercials, including one for a mobile operator that brought him widespread recognition.
