TV Presenter Deepti Chowdhury celebrates new chapter with emotional message

Popular television presenter Deepti Chowdhury has embarked on a new chapter in her life after getting married in a family ceremony held in Dhaka on Friday (June 5).

The wedding formalities took place at a restaurant in the city's Banglamotor area, attended by close family members and relatives from both sides.

A familiar face to Bangladeshi audiences through her work on Channel i's current affairs programmes, including To The Point and Straight Cut, Deepti has earned widespread recognition as a television host over the years.

Following the ceremony, Deepti shared a series of wedding photographs on social media and expressed her emotions in a heartfelt Facebook post. She wrote that the person she once thought she would never have in her life has now become her life partner.

Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah, she described her husband as one of the most sincere and admirable people she has ever known and said she looks forward to building their future together.

Deepti's husband, Mushtaq Ibn Ayub, is an academic and researcher. He earned his PhD in Oncology from the University of Oxford and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology at Dhaka University.

The news has drawn warm wishes from colleagues, media personalities and well-wishers, as the celebrated presenter begins a new journey in her personal life.
