Two Bangladeshis killed in Israeli drone strike in Lebanon

Two Bangladeshi nationals were among three people killed in an Israeli drone strike on a house in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, according to a report by L'Orient Today on Monday, May 11. The third victim was a Syrian national.

The deceased were reportedly working as labourers in Lebanon. Their names and identities have not been disclosed.

Despite a ceasefire, Israel continues to carry out extensive attacks in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah, the Lebanese armed group, has also launched retaliatory strikes against Israeli forces.

On April 16, US President Donald Trump had announced a ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel. However, Israeli forces have continued to violate the truce, destroying civilian homes in southern Lebanon while also targeting Hezbollah fighters.
