US content creator dies while in facebook livestream
American content creator John Davis, widely known for the popular online series “Coffee Time with John and Momma,” has died after suffering a medical emergency during a Facebook livestream. He was 55.
According to international media reports, Davis became seriously ill while broadcasting live from his home in Jellico, Tennessee, on June 10.
Emergency services were alerted after reports that he had stopped breathing, but authorities confirmed he was declared dead at the scene before medical assistance could save him.
Officials from the Campbell County Sheriff's Office said they responded to an emergency call regarding a man experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Preliminary findings indicated no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. Authorities also noted that Davis had several pre-existing health conditions.
Following the incident, the livestream video was removed from social media platforms out of respect for the deceased and his family. However, one of his final videos, recorded a day earlier with his mother, remains available on the page.
Davis rose to prominence through his Facebook page and YouTube channel “Coffee Time with John and Momma,” where he and his mother, Frances “Momma” Davis, shared cooking videos, family conversations and uplifting content that attracted a loyal online following of more than 200,000 followers across platforms.
Known for his warm personality, simple storytelling and strong family values, Davis built a dedicated audience over the years. News of his sudden death has sparked an outpouring of grief from followers and fellow content creators, many of whom described him as a positive and comforting presence in the online community.
