Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that any involvement by the United States in the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict would pose a "very dangerous" threat to regional stability, reports BBC.

Speaking to reporters in Istanbul, Araghchi reiterated Tehran’s willingness to return to diplomatic dialogue but said that ongoing hostilities make negotiations impossible. "We are open to talks," he stated. "But when bombs are falling on our people, talks are not possible."

Araghchi also accused the United States of having been involved in the conflict from its early stages, although he did not provide concrete evidence to support the claim. "The US has participated in this aggression from day one," he said.

Tensions have intensified in recent days following reports that former US President Donald Trump had approved a conditional plan for military action against Iran. The alleged plan would be halted only if Tehran agreed to completely abandon its nuclear programme.

In response, Araghchi acknowledged the possibility of revisiting Iran’s nuclear negotiations, saying, "We are ready to find a solution to the nuclear programme through talks. Diplomacy has worked in the past and it can succeed again. But aggression must cease if diplomacy is to resume."

He also referenced the 2015 nuclear deal, known formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as a framework for future negotiations. "The way to move past years of baseless accusations is through diplomacy," he said.
