US plans 'largest bombing' on Iran tonight: Treasury Secretary

The United States will carry out its “largest bombing campaign” against Iran on Saturday night (March 7), according to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

The bombing campaign will targetIran’s missile launch infrastructure and its manufacturing plants, Bessent said.

The latest development comes on the eighth day of the US‑Israeli joint military strikes, which President Donald Trump has vowed to continue until Iran fully surrenders.

CENTCOM reports that over 3,000 Iranian military and strategic sites have been hit since the launch of Operation Epic Fury, including ballistic missile installations, IRGC command centers, and communications hubs.

Washington also claims 43 Iranian naval vessels destroyed and at least 49 top officials killed, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
