Vinicius' agency shuts down Arsenal transfer rumours

Fresh speculation over the future of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has been firmly rejected by the Brazilian forward's representatives, who have dismissed reports linking him with a move to Arsenal as "false" and "misleading."

Recent reports from several international outlets claimed uncertainty surrounding Vinicius' contract negotiations with Real Madrid had opened the door for Arsenal to explore a potential move for the Brazilian winger. While those reports acknowledged that no formal talks had taken place, they fuelled widespread speculation over the 25-year-old's future.

Responding to the rumours, Michael Yormark, president of Roc Nation Sports International, issued a strong statement on social media, insisting there is no truth to the claims.

"The recent stories surrounding Vinicius are false, misleading and entirely speculative," Yormark said.

He also criticised sections of the media for publishing unverified transfer reports in pursuit of attention, arguing that such reporting unfairly damages players' reputations and falls short of responsible journalism.

Vinicius remains under contract with Real Madrid until June 2027. Spanish media have reported that negotiations over a contract extension are ongoing, although the two sides have yet to reach a final agreement.

Meanwhile, some reports have suggested Arsenal have internally assessed the financial implications of a potential move, including adjustments to the club's wage structure and image-rights policy. However, there has been no indication of formal negotiations between the Premier League side, Real Madrid or the player's representatives.

Despite the growing transfer chatter, Vinicius' agency has made its position clear, insisting that reports linking the Brazil international with a move to north London have no factual basis.
