Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has unveiled its latest S-series smartphones, the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, featuring large 7,200mAh batteries, 144Hz AMOLED displays, and fast-charging support.

The Vivo S60 arrives as the more premium model in the lineup, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition is equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 processor. Both smartphones run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and will go on sale in China from June 3.

The Vivo S60 is priced at approximately Tk 60,000 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 512GB model costs around Tk 67,000, while the top-end 16GB + 512GB version is priced at roughly Tk 74,000.

Meanwhile, the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition starts at around Tk 48,000 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at approximately Tk 53,000, while the 12GB + 512GB variant costs about Tk 58,000.

The Vivo S60 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, HDR support, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.

In the camera department, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens capable of up to 100x digital zoom. A 50-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The handset is backed by a 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Vivo has also included a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition shares many of the same features, including the display, battery, charging technology, software, and connectivity options. However, it uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset and comes with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Unlike the standard Vivo S60, it does not feature a periscope telephoto lens.

Vivo will offer both smartphones in Early Summer Green, Midsummer Night's Dream, and Sea of Stars color options in the Chinese market. The company has not yet announced any plans for an international rollout.
