Warner, Marsh guide Australia to 367 against Pakistan
David Warner showcased his exceptional batting skills by smashing a counter-attacking 163 runs (124 balls), while Mitchell Marsh contributed with a stunning 121 (108 balls), enabling Australia to post an impressive total of 367/9 against Pakistan.
After winning the toss, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam invited Australia to bat first at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The partnership between Warner and Marsh proved to be the highlight of the match, as they added a staggering 259 runs for the opening wicket. Warner's century came in just 85 balls, marking his 21st century, while Marsh achieved his second ODI ton by crossing the 100-run mark in 100 balls.
Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi displayed his bowling prowess by taking a remarkable five wickets, while Haris Rauf managed to bag three wickets.
