Shortly after the ceasefire between India and Pakistan was announced and implemented, the Indian Army said that the ceasefire has been declared, and that all three forces will follow the order. However, the forces are fully prepared and alert.

Appearing at a special evening briefing of the military, senior naval officer Commodore Raghu Nair said, "The steps taken by Pakistan have been prevented with force and if tensions rise again in the future, a befitting reply will be given. We are fully prepared to take any necessary military action to protect the state."

Army Colonel Sophia Qureshi said that Pakistan had spread "massive false information" during the conflict.

"The claims that they were able to destroy or damage the installations of the Indian Air Force and the ground forces are all false claims," said Colonel Qureshi.

On the other hand, the Indian Army claimed that it was able to cause massive damage to the Pakistani army and air force.

IAF Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said that Pakistan has repeatedly held press conferences alleging that Indian forces have targeted mosques in that country.

“I want to make it clear that India is a secular country and the Indian armed forces reflect constitutional values. They give utmost respect to every religious place of worship. The sole target of our operations was the terrorist camps and the facilities that were being used for anti-India activities. No religious places were targeted by the Indian forces,” said Wing Commander Singh.
