US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States and China are working together, and that Beijing is satisfied with his decision—particularly regarding opening the Strait of Hormuz. The information was reported by Al Jazeera.

In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday (April 15), Trump wrote that China is “very happy” with his move to permanently open the Strait of Hormuz. He added that the decision was made not just for China, but for the benefit of the entire world, and that such a situation would not arise again in the future.

Trump also claimed that China has agreed to stop sending weapons to Iran. He said that when Chinese President Xi Jinping visits, he would give him a “big and warm hug,” adding that the two countries are working together “intelligently and effectively.”

He further said, “Isn’t this better than war? But if needed, we are very good at fighting—better than anyone else.”

However, there has been no official response from China regarding Trump’s claims so far.
