We need to improve more: Miraz

In the final ODI of the three-match series, Bangladesh posted a challenging target of 321 runs, but was defeated by the West Indies on Thursday night in St Kitts. The West Indies won by 4 wickets with 25 balls remaining, completing a 3-0 whitewash of the Bangladesh team.

After the loss, acting captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, "We need to improve more. We understand how we need to improve. Our batting was not good in the middle overs of this match."

Speaking at the award ceremony, he said, "We could have performed better in bowling, and not taking wickets in the middle overs was our main issue."

Due to injuries, regular captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, experienced player Mushfiqur Rahim, and Towhid Hridoy were unavailable for the series. Mustafizur Rahman also missed the series due to family reasons. Miraz acknowledged that the absence of senior players impacted the team, stating, "We missed several senior players in this series. I have to take on the responsibility for the series losses."
