What Dilara Zaman said about the 'house grabbing' incident

Veteran actress Dilara Zaman has expressed surprise and annoyance after news of her house being grabbed spread on social media on Friday, September 4. She clarified that the incident is not recent but occurred about 22 to 23 years ago.

"It's an old incident. In 2003-2004, I lived in Shyamoli, Dhaka. There was a house given by my father in that area. I lived there with my family. Later, I sold that house and moved to Uttara in 2008 after buying a 1,600-square-foot flat there. I have been living there since then," she said .

Regarding the social media posts, the actress expressed her frustration, saying, "Have people lost their minds? It would be better if they thought before writing. If the brain doesn't work for good work, how does it feel? What else can I say!" .

The confusion arose from an old interview where she described a property dispute, which was misinterpreted as a current event. Dilara Zaman confirmed she currently resides peacefully in her own flat in Uttara .
