'The Beast Incarnate' Brock Lesnar, 48, lost to Oba Femi in less than five minutes on the second night of WrestleMania 42. The match lasted just over four minutes.

However, the main talking point came after the loss. An emotional Lesnar removed his gloves and placed them in the centre of the ring. He then took off his boots and placed them next to the gloves. The crowd erupted in chants of 'Thank you Brock' and 'Thank you Lesnar'.

Lesnar's long-time associate Paul Heyman then entered the ring and embraced the former world champion. Heyman became emotional and wept as they left the ring together, with Lesnar turning back to thank the fans once more.

Former world champion Kurt Angle, who had memorable matches with Lesnar, reacted on X, writing: "Love you, brother. There will never be another like you. Enjoy your retirement, Brock."

Lesnar returned to WWE last year after a long hiatus, attacking John Cena during SummerSlam and later defeating him.
