Zidane's son in Algeria's World Cup squad
Algeria has announced its World Cup squad with Luca Zidane, the son of French legend Zinedine Zidane. The 26-man squad will be captained by former Manchester City and Leicester forward Riyad Mahrez.
Luca Zidane, who plays for Spanish club Granada, has been named as one of three goalkeepers. Luca, who plays for France's Under-20 team, has been playing for his ancestral country of Algeria since last year. Luca and his father were born in France, and his grandparents are Algerian.
Former Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has also been included in Algeria's World Cup squad. Coach Vladimir Petkovic has also included Houssem Aouar and Amine Guerre, who missed the Africa Cup of Nations in January due to injuries.
