1 killed, 6 injured as passenger bus falls into ditch in Natore

A soldier named Al-Mamun was killed when a passenger bus overturned and fell into a ditch in Gurudaspur, Natore. It has been reported that 6 people were injured at the time.

The incident took place at around 2:30 pm on Friday (March 21) at Bridge No. 10 area of ​​the Banpara-Hatikumrul highway. The injured are being treated at a local hospital. The deceased Al-Mamun is the son of Osim Uddin of Barabaria village in Natore Sadar upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banpara Highway Police Ismail Hossain said that a Dhaka-bound RP Special Paribahan passenger bus leaving Natore collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. At that time, the passenger bus overturned and fell into a ditch on the side of the road. Al-Mamun, a member of the Bangladesh Army, died on the spot. 6 people were injured at that time. Upon receiving the information, the highway police and locals rescued the injured and admitted them to the Gurdaspur Upazila Health Complex.
