10 Awami League men arrested in Dhanmondi

Dhanmondi Model Police have arrested 10 leaders and activists of the Awami League and its affiliates in a drive in the Dhanmondi Model Police Station area of ​​the capital.

The arrested persons are - Ibadul Islam, 21, Milan Baroi, 20, Sujan Sardar, 26, Sabuj Dhali, 28, Nipul Biswas, 29, Samu Dhali, 28, Ashok Dhali, 30, Sourav Hawlader, 23, Md. Joy, 28, and Mahbub Hawlader, 40.

According to sources at Dhanmondi Model Police Station, these 10 active Awami League activists were arrested red-handed while preparing for a sudden procession from the Satmasjid Road area of ​​the police station on Monday morning. During this time, 15 caps with Jubo League monograms, eight jerseys with pictures of leaders and activists, and a banner reading 'Sheikh Hasina will come, Bangladesh will laugh' were recovered from their custody. Two buses and a private car carrying the arrested persons were also seized. The arrested persons have been sent to court.
