Youth hacked to death in Keraniganj
A youth named Farhad Hossain, 25, has been hacked to death in Keraniganj of Dhaka. The attack took place at a salon in Arshinagar area of Shakta union on Tuesday afternoon. He was rescued in a critically injured condition and taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 4pm.

But after completing applications, examinations and a long selection process, the offer letters that reached the students selected for master’s degrees do not include most of the promised benefits. Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has said the possible schedule for local government elections announced by the Election Commission (EC) is not final. He said a final decision on the matter will be taken on the basis of the opinion of the inter-ministerial meeting with the participation of secretaries next Thursday (September 17).
