10-member sub-committee formed in Rajshahi to stop coaching business

A sub-committee has been formed in Rajshahi to control the coaching business of teachers of educational institutions. The committee regarding the operation of private coaching centers was approved through a notification signed by Deputy Commissioner Afia Akhtar on Thursday. The 10-member committee has been formed to implement the 2012 policy.

The notification mentioned that the coaching business of teachers is creating inequality in the education system and is having a negative impact on classroom-based teaching. The sub-committee will work to monitor coaching centers and prevent irregularities.

District Education Officer Jayedur Rahman has been made the president ex officio and CAB Rajshahi General Secretary Golam Mostafa Mamun has been made the member secretary.

Other members of the committee are the Principal of Rajshahi Education Board Government Model School and College, Principal of Rajshahi Government Model School and College, Headmaster of Rajshahi Collegiate School, Headmaster of Government Laboratory High School, Headmaster of Government Pramathanath Girls' High School, Headmaster of Government Girls' High School Helenabad, Headmaster of Siroil Government High School and Headmaster of Haji Muhammad Muhsin Government High School.
