12-party alliance welcomes CA's speech

Leaders of the 12-party alliance have welcomed the chief adviser's national announcement, according to a statement issued on Thursday, November 13.

The statement described interim government chief adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus's announcement of holding a referendum on national election day as "a timely and realistic step." It said the public has responded positively to the announcement, which has resolved uncertainties surrounding both the referendum and national election.

The alliance leaders stated, "We believe all political parties will now refrain from raising new demands and will fully engage in election activities following the chief adviser's announcement."

They characterized the same-day referendum and election as "a historic step."
