13 European countries issue joint visa guidance for Bangladeshis
Thirteen European countries have jointly issued guidance for Bangladeshi citizens applying for visas, permits, and other consular services, emphasising adherence to official procedures.
The directive was released on Wednesday (April 8) by the British High Commission in Dhaka.
The guidance warns applicants against using fraudulent documents, relying on unlicensed agents, or making payments to unauthorized individuals or organisations, as such actions can lead to delays, financial loss, border entry denial, and serious legal complications.
It also clarifies that no embassy or mission of the participating countries is affiliated with any agent, and applicants should not rely on intermediaries claiming special influence or preferential treatment.
Applicants are urged to complete all visa-related processes through verified information and official government channels of the respective countries to ensure a safe, transparent, and fair application process.
The 13 countries issuing the guidance are Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
