At least 13 policemen were killed at Enayetpur police station in Sirajganj on the first day of non-cooperation to press the one-point demand of Students Against Discrimination (SAD). Besides, the agitators beat and killed a police constable outside the Elliotganj Highway Police Station in Cumilla. Senior Information Officer of the Public Relations Department of the Police Headquarters Kamrul Ahsan confirmed the news. Bijay Basak, Additional DIG of Rajshahi Range of Police, said that the agitators came with a procession and attacked and vandalized Enayetpur police station. At one point they set fire to the police station and beat the policemen there to death.

বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের ডাকে এক দফা দাবিতে অসহযোগের প্রথম দিন সিরাজগঞ্জের এনায়েতপুর থানায় ১৩ পুলিশ সদস্য হত্যার শিকার হয়েছেন। এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করে পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরের জনসংযোগ বিভাগের জ্যেষ্ঠ তথ্য কর্মকর্তা কামরুল আহসান জানান, এর বাইরে কুমিল্লার ইলিয়টগঞ্জ হাইওয়ে থানায় ঢুকে এক পুলিশ কনস্টেবলকে পিটিয়ে হত্যা করেছে আন্দোলনকারীরা। পুলিশের রাজশাহী রেঞ্জের অতিরিক্ত ডিআইজি বিজয় বসাক বলেন, আন্দোলনকারীরা মিছিল নিয়ে এসে এনায়েতপুর থানায় হামলা ও ভাঙচুর চালায়। একপর্যায়ে তারা থানায় আগুন দেয় এবং সেখানে থাকা পুলিশ সদস্যদের পিটিয়ে হত্যা করে।
