The lowest temperature was recorded at Tetulia in Panchagarh district, which borders the northern region, at 14.2 degrees Celsius; humidity was 95 percent.

The temperature in the region has been fluctuating between 12 and 15 degrees Celsius for the past few days.

The temperature was recorded at 6 am on Saturday (November 15). The temperature was 14 degrees on Friday morning, 13.4 degrees on Thursday and 12.8 degrees on Wednesday, said Jitendranath Roy, a meteorologist at Tetulia Meteorological Office.

Meteorologist Jitendranath Roy said: "Since the cold wind is more active in the early hours of the morning, the temperature drops quickly. However, when the sun rises, some warmth naturally returns. The temperature will remain between 12 and 15 degrees for a few consecutive days. A cold wave may appear towards the end of this month."
