1,461 complaints on ‘Clean Care’ app in two months, 1,020 resolved
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has received 1,461 complaints through the ‘Clean Care’ app launched for quick acceptance and resolution of cleanliness-related complaints of city dwellers in two months of starting activities. Of these DSCC has resolved 1,020 complaints.
Spokesperson of DSCC Md Rasel Rahman informed these details on Monday (September 28). He said full activities of the app started from August 1. Of the complaints received till September 28, 441 are currently in the process of disposal.
DSCC has informed that the app has also received positive response in terms of satisfaction of citizens. In the rating given by users the average score is 4.5 out of five. Alongside this 89 percent users have given positive opinion about the app.
Through the app city dwellers are able to inform the authority directly about various problems related to cleanliness. After receiving the complaint it is being sent to the concerned division and initiative is being taken to take necessary measures. DSCC has informed that along with increasing the speed of complaint management accountability in service delivery is also increasing due to this.
Administrator of DSCC freedom fighter Md Abdus Salam said only the initiative of the city corporation is not enough to build a clean and livable city, active participation of city dwellers is also necessary with it. Work is being done by giving importance to the opinions, complaints and suggestions of citizens through the ‘Clean Care’ app.
He said communication of DSCC with city dwellers has become easier through this technology-based service. Such initiatives will continue to build a clean, livable and modern Dhaka.
Expressing thanks for the trust of city dwellers the DSCC administrator further said there is plan to further increase the scope of the app in future. Initiative will be taken to bring other civic services of DSCC under the ‘Clean Care’ app phase by phase.
