15,000 more uniforms of ‘KNF’ seized in Chattogram

Police have recovered 15,000 more uniforms of the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) from a garment factory in the Pahartali police station area of ​​Chattogram city. The uniforms were seized on Tuesday (May 27) night.

Police have arrested the managing director of the garment factory, Matiur Rahman, in connection with the seizure of the uniforms. In addition, a case has been filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act at the Pahartali police station in this regard.

Although the police have not officially admitted the seizure of the KNF uniforms, several CMP officials have confirmed the matter.

According to police information, KNF uniforms have been recovered in three phases so far. Four people have been arrested in this connection.

Earlier, 20,300 pieces of clothing were seized from Ringvo Apparels in the Oxygen Nayarhat area of ​​the city on May 17. Then, another 11,785 pieces of clothing were seized from a warehouse in the city last Monday.
