17 special prosecutors appointment revoked
The government has cancelled the appointments of 17 special prosecutors, including Mosharraf Hossain Kajol, in connection with the 2009 mutiny case at the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) headquarters in Pilkhana.
Confirming the matter on Monday (September 9), Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam, said, "The trial for the BDR mutiny will commence soon."
An order from the Solicitor Division of the Department of Law and Justice has canceled the appointment of 17 special prosecutors for the BDR mutiny explosives case, which was filed on February 28, 2009, at Lalbagh Police Station in Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
