The forecast for inland river ports was issued for the period from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14.

According to the forecast, the affected areas are Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Kushtia, Jashore, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet. Winds from the south or south-east may blow at 45-60 km/h, accompanied by rain or thundershowers.

The Met Office also warned that heavy to very heavy rainfall (44-88 mm and above) may occur in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions until 11:00 am on Tuesday due to active monsoon conditions. This may cause temporary waterlogging in Dhaka city.
