DMP Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman gave the information while speaking to reporters on Tuesday, November 18.

He said, “Police are investigating the murder of Jubo Dal leader Golam Kibria in Pallabi. One person has been detained over the incident. Once the remaining two involved are arrested, the whole matter will be known.”

He also said that no case has yet been filed by the family of the deceased.

Earlier, on Monday, November 17 at 6:40pm, Golam Kibria was shot dead at a hardware shop in Block C near the old Pallabi Police Station.
