2 more die from dengue in 24 hrs

In the past 24 hours, two more people have died from dengue fever in Bangladesh, while 705 new cases were reported nationwide.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday (November 24), the death toll from dengue this year has risen to 366, with a total of 90,969 people infected.

Both recent deaths occurred in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) area. The new cases reported division-wise include: Barishal 62, Chattogram 116, Dhaka 137, DNCC 171, DSCC 77, Khulna 34, Mymensingh 53, Rajshahi 34, Rangpur 5, and Sylhet 16.

During the same period, 816 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals across the country, bringing the total number of recoveries this year to 88,258.
