Bangladesh reported two more dengue-related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing this year’s toll to 181, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Monday (September 22). During the same period, 678 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals. One death occurred each in Barishal and Mymensingh divisions, with Barishal recording the highest hospitalisations at 149. Other divisions reported: Dhaka North 126, Dhaka 113, Chattogram 90, Dhaka South 74, Rajshahi 55, Mymensingh 33, Khulna 25, Rangpur 10, and Sylhet 3. On Sunday (September 21), 12 people died from dengue—the highest single-day toll this year.

দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় আরও ২ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর মশাবাহিত রোগে মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে ১৮১ জনে দাঁড়াল। এছাড়া গত এক দিনে ডেঙ্গু নিয়ে নতুন করে ৬৭৮ জন হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছে। সোমবার (২২ সেপ্টেম্বর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের ডেঙ্গুবিষয়ক নিয়মিত প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গুতে বরিশাল ও ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে একজন করে মোট ২ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি এই সময়ে বরিশাল বিভাগেই সবচেয়ে বেশি ডেঙ্গু রোগী (১৪৯ জন) হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছে। এ ছাড়া গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ঢাকা উত্তর সিটি করপোরেশনে ১২৬ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে ১১৩ জন, চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ৯০ জন, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটি করপোরেশনে ৭৪ জন, রাজশাহী বিভাগে ৫৫ জন, ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে ৩৩ জন, খুলনা বিভাগে ২৫ জন, রংপুর বিভাগে ১০ জন এবং সিলেট বিভাগে ৩ জন ডেঙ্গু নিয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছে। এর আগে রোববার (২১ সেপ্টেম্বর) ডেঙ্গুতে এক দিনে ১২ জনের মৃত্যু ঘটে। এটি চলতি বছরে এক দিনে সর্বোচ্চ মৃত্যু।&nbsp;
