A total of 20 officers, including four Additional Deputy Inspector Generals (Additional DIGs) and 16 Superintendents of Police (SPs), have been transferred. The transfers were announced on Tuesday through a notification issued by the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs' Public Security Division. The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman, acting on behalf of the President. The transferred officers have been assigned to various units, including the Metropolitan and Range DIG offices, In-Service Training Centre, PBI, DMP, Industrial Police, and RRF.

দেশব্যাপী প্রশাসনিক পুনর্বিন্যাসের অংশ হিসেবে চার অতিরিক্ত ডিআইজি (ডেপুটি ইন্সপেক্টর জেনারেল) এবং ১৬ এসপি (পুলিশ সুপার)সহ মোট ২০ জন পুলিশ কর্মকর্তাকে বদলি করা হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার (২১ জানুয়ারি) স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের জননিরাপত্তা বিভাগের পুলিশ-১ শাখা থেকে এ বিষয়ে একটি প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করা হয়। প্রজ্ঞাপনটি রাষ্ট্রপতির পক্ষে স্বাক্ষর করেন উপসচিব মো. মাহবুবুর রহমান। বদলির আওতায় কর্মকর্তাদের মেট্রোপলিটন ও রেঞ্জ ডিআইজি অফিস, ইন-সার্ভিস ট্রেনিং সেন্টার, পিবিআই, ডিএমপি, ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পুলিশ এবং আরআরএফসহ বিভিন্ন ইউনিটে নিয়োগ দেয়া হয়েছে।
