29 civil surgeons across country made OSD
The Ministry of Health has made 29 civil surgeons across the country as Officers on Special Duty (OSD).
In a notification issued on Sunday (March 2), the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed the decision.
Deputy Secretary Sanjeeda Sharmin signed the notice order.
According to the notification, the civil surgeons who have been transferred or reassigned must report to their new posts by March 6. If they fail to do so, they will be considered relieved from their current positions starting March 9.
The civil surgeons who have been assigned OSD status include Dr Maria Hasan (Barishal); Dr Md Akul Uddin (Kushtia); Dr Abul Hadi Mohammad Shah Paran (Shariatpur); Dr Monisar Chowdhury (Sylhet); Dr Iftekhar (Noakhali); Dr Mizanur Rahman (Pirojpur); Dr Asif Ahmed Howlader (Jhalakathi); Dr HM Zahirul Islam (Feni); Dr Md Shihab Uddin (Pabna); Dr Shahidullah Dewan (Sherpur); Dr Muhammad Jashim Uddin (Jamalpur); Dr Md Fazlul Haque (Patuakhali); Dr SM Kabir Hossain (Meherpur); Dr Md Mohiuddin (Netrokona); Dr Anupam Bhattacharya (Tangail); Dr Minhaj Uddin Mia (Thakurgaon); Dr Nur Newaz Ahmed (Gaibandha); Dr Kaniz Sabiha (Joypurhat); Dr Ruhul Amin (Gazipur); Dr Mahmuda Akhtar (Kishoreganj); Dr Saiful Islam (Barguna); Dr Pradeep Chandra Mandal (Naogaon); Dr Nazrul Islam (Rangpur); Dr Mostafa Zaman Chowdhury (Nilphamari); Dr Hasibur Rahman (Manikganj); Dr Moksedul Momin (Lalmonirhat); Dr Nirmalendu Roy (Panchagarh); Dr Mostafizur Rahman (Kurigram).
