2,950 new polling centers added ahead of national election
In the upcoming national parliamentary election, the total number of polling centers nationwide is expected to reach 45,098. These centers will include 280,564 voting booths, managed by approximately 931,131 polling officials.

In the previous 12th national parliamentary election, there were 42,148 polling centers and 261,564 voting booths. For this election, nearly 2,950 new polling centers and 19,000 additional voting booths are expected to be added.
The meeting also highlighted that, in every election, the panel includes about 10 percent more polling officials than required. Of these, 5 percent are extra officials who receive training. Following this practice, approximately 931,000 officials will be trained for the upcoming election.
