3 autorickshaw passengers killed in bus crash in Bhanga

Three people, including two women, were killed when a speeding bus hit them in Bhanga of Faridpur. Four others, including two children, were injured in the incident. They were rescued and sent to Bhanga Health Complex.

The accident occurred at 12:45 pm on Friday in the East Shadardi area of ​​the Faridpur-Bhanga-Barisal highway. Police and fire service personnel reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.

Confirming the matter, Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector Sohel Mia said that an autorickshaw headed for Tekerhat from Bhanga towards Chumurdi Union. When it reached East Shadardi area, a speeding bus coming from the other direction hit it, leaving the three people dead. In addition to recovering their bodies, the injured were sent to Bhanga Upazila Health Complex. Initially, the identities of the deceased could not be ascertained.
