3 buses torched, multiple bomb blasts in Dhaka

Three buses were torched, and multiple hand grenade explosions were reported at various locations across the capital overnight, officials from the police and fire service said.

Among the arson attacks, one occurred in Hazaribagh, another in South Keraniganj, and the third in Savar.

However, no casualties were reported in any of the incidents.

Fire Service Duty Officer Lima Khanm said a bus parked near Hazaribagh Beribadh Government College was torched around 11:55pm, and firefighters quickly brought it under control. Similar incidents occurred at Rajendrapur Bus Stand in South Keraniganj around 3:15am and at Raj Fulbaria Bus Stand in Savar around 3:45am.

Prior to these arson attack, a cocktail bomb exploded at Madhubag of Hatirjheel, igniting a motorcycle that was quickly extinguished.

Additionally, two hand grenade blasts also occurred near the ADB office and under the IDB metro station in Agargaon, with no injuries reported.
